You have heard enough times “the money is in the list”. Having read many articles and successes of other people profiting from their opt-in lists, your appetite is whelped. So, finally you are convinced that you need an opt-in list. One that is responsive. Now, you are ready to take the leap to build your own opt-in list.

You learned everything there is to know from the experts about building opt-in list, and followed their advice religiously. Yet at the end of the day profits are not rolling in though you have into the thousands on your opt-in list.

You may even hire the best writers to provide content for your
publication but your Return on Investment is pathethic. Despite a huge opt-in list, only a small percentage of subscribers actually bought your goods or services.

What happened Mac? What went wrong? Why have you failed where others have succeeded? Why is it others are making money from their opt-in list like a breeze and you are struggling to stay afloat?

All is not lost. You can still breathe life into your opt-in list by following 4 simple but effective tips. These 4 tips are also applicable for those of you who are starting to build your opt-in list.

1.Gain the trust of your potential customers first. Before people buy anything from you, they have to trust you and the products you are promoting. The strategy to gain trust is to write as many articles as possible relating to your niche business.

Next, submit them to reputable and high traffic article directories. If your articles are widely accepted and read, it would quickly establish you as an expert in your field. This is an essential pre-requiste to starting your opt-in lisT and making money off it.

Sign up for forums that are related to your business. Trust will be gained if you provide answers and solutions to other people’s questions and problems. Post a link to your website so that people may get to know your business.

The truth of the matter is potential customers and subscribers will spend money with you only if they trust you. They want value exchange for their money, so do you. People are not simply going to buy something just because you recommend it unless they know and trust you.

2.Know the needs and wants of your potential customers. Signing up for forums or setting up one on your site is a good way to learn about the needs, wants and concerns of your potential customers. Then you can effectively target those needs, wants and concerns.

The problem is many times either we are trying to provide answers to questions that nobody is asking or fail to forsee any impending need.

Feel the ground, know the needs, wants and concerns of other people and fill them. Better still if you are able to forsee potential needs in the near future. This will put you in the forefront.

You will naturally have a following if you are able to identify and meet the needs, wants and concerns of potential customers. Your business did not exist for itself or to boost your ego. It exists to serve your customers.

3.Develop or source for a product or service that meets that needs, wants and concerns of potential customers. This may require research on your part if you are not well-versed with the product or service in question. Invest your time, effort and money to develop or source for the relevant products or services.

Do your research well and you will see profits roll in.

4.Befriend other opt-in lists owners. This is beneficial especially if they have already launched successful opt-in lists. These are people to tap on for experience and expertise. Though you can read articles available on the internet, nothing beats getting a first hand account from someone you can trust and has been there and done it.

Experience is a good teacher. Successful opt-in list owners will be able to tell you the dos and don’ts of building an opt-in list.

Building a responsive opt-in list that delivers profits does not happen overnight. There’s hard work involved especially if you are building one from ground zero. Next, is the maintenance of your list.

As long as you keep your subscribers happy and satisfied, they will remain lifelong customers.

Go ahead and build your profitable opt-in list with the tips provided above.

Wrap your lips around this one.

The Best Meatball Recipe

Can be prepared in 45 minutes or less.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound combined beef, veal, pork (must be fresh)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup grated Romano Locatelli Cheese
  • 1 cup bread crumb
  • 1 clove garlic – minced
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Preparation

(All mixing is done be hand)

In a large bowl mix beef/veal/pork with eggs. Then add bread crumb, cheese, and salt. Finally add minced garlic in stages. Add a little then mix. Add some more, then mix. This way all the garlic does not end up in one meatball. Now, it’s time to roll up the balls. Average size is roughly 2 inches in diameter. I usually get around 18 to 20 meatballs per pound.

IMPORTANT! Do not cook meatballs in your pasta sauce! Meatballs cooked in sauce loose their flavor. The real key to a tasty meatball is cooking the them in an oven. So, heat oven to 375. Place meatballs on a rack – then on a cookie tray.

Bake for 12 minutes on one side then 10 minutes for the other.

I freeze the meatballs in bags and take out what I need per dinner. I just drop the meatballs into the sauce as if heats up.

Buon Appetito!

The Muses are mythical, legendary beings who have been known for both good and evil; spoken of, sung about, and written on extensively for centuries.

The Muses are often given credit – or blame – for everyday events that are a normal part of life.

Strictly as a point to ponder, I would like to suggest that any “normal” writer has a trio of muses that tag along to help, inspire, and often hinder, complicate and confuse the creative writing process for us.

But it would seem, good or bad, they are a necessary component of the writing process. They are the voices in your head that assist, direct, suggest, and sometimes demand attention as you write.

This trio of muses are fraternal triplets, born of the same heritage: Talent. Talent is the mother of all creativity. Talent was born with basic skills. She teaches us how to develop those skills through her children, the Muses, named Lynda, Jessica, and Bobby Ellen.

Sometimes their advice is well received. Sometimes their advice is confusing and difficult to understand. Sometimes they offer no advice…and watch us, with pleasure, to see if we will succeed. Lessons are learned when principles taught must be applied on our own to demonstrate our own understanding and creativity.

Lynda is a muse of carnal erotica. When she is present you can feel the radiant heat of the closeness and wantonness of her silken, smooth nakedness. Her bronzed flesh she willingly bares, rising and falling in poetic motion for your own pleasure. You can smell the thick, heady scent of her aroused sexuality as she whispers gently, but deeply, into the ears of your mind. She is the perfect portrait of a sultry, sensuous goddess.

Jessica is a euphoric romantic. Like a newly stitched quilt, you are easily enfolded by her soft, penetrating whispers into the comforting warmth of her enveloping presence. Your mind and heart are set at peace as she chants her sing-song melodies of romance and love as you recline casually in her presence. Thoughts of futures yet to be flow freely through your mind. You are lifted, invigorated, and encouraged beyond measure. Armed with her knowledge and support you are able to go forward and achieve.

Bobby Ellen is the practical voice of reason. She is the one who attempts to plant your feet firmly in the soil of reality. She is the champion of honesty, fidelity, and truth. She doesn’t let your head get too big. She speaks reason to your mind and encouragement to your heart, gently reminding you that you can always improve and do a little better. She supports the concepts of continuing education, daily planning, goal setting, and the practice of your developing skills. She whispers in your ear that failure is only found in the acceptance of yourself as you are, rather than choosing to become even more. She will encourage you upward, if you will listen. She is the root, the stem, the development of elementary, true passion.

The Three Muses. Always passionate, provocative, and persistent. You have seen them, heard them, felt them, in some form or another.

They are all in your mind.

Or…are they?

They should be!

Searching for the perfect mate can be one of life’s greatest challenges.

Afterall, forever is a long time. You want to make the right decision.

Dating itself can be really trying. It can be hard to find the right people. What if they don’t share the same values and beliefs that you do? How do you handle that and when?

Wouldn’t it be easier to know ahead of time that they are Christian, just like you?

Wouldn’t it be easier to know their respect for God and other people, values and beliefs, mirrors your own?

I know my own dating experiences were trying at best. My stomach used to churn before hand. I’d be so excited to meet new people, only to cringe as that feeling was replaced with absolute, crushing hopelessness as the person demonstrated a trait I knew I just wouldn’t be able to tolerate.

If they said something snide about children and my being a parent, I knew it was over. If they weren’t pet people, it was going nowhere.

If they were vulgar, ignorant, not funny or if God didn’t have a place in their life like mine, what could we possibly have in common?

A few incidents come to my mind. The dental hygienist who chain-smoked. The girl who didn’t shave her legs, her armpits and didn’t wear deodorant (it took a few dates to begin to figure this one out).

I remember one Friday night where I thought I had met someone with real potential. She was highly educated, respectful and thoughtful. Several dates later, she showed up at my house with an open bottle of wine, already drunk. And then she stormed off when I mentioned concern that she had been drinking and driving.

So how do you find the right people? How do you at least give a first date a chance, by taking the time to get to know people coming from a similar place as you?

The workplace can be a popular source, if there are lots of employees and some that believe in God as you do.

But what if you work too much and don’t have time to meet people? Or, what if meeting people is quite a scary experience, and you’d like to find a “like minded group of people”, that you can get to know via email first before actually meeting?

The answer, more and more, is the Internet. Never before has the world’s millions of singles, been able to find sources of other singles who are just like they are.

The best part is these specific sources of singles can be pre-determined ahead of time. For instance, you’ll know you’re talking to someone who is Christian, because you found their ad on a Christian singles site.

Make sense? Much easier than trying to make these discoveries of values and beliefs over coffee or dinner.

You can further refine your search by specific age ranges, kids or not, divorced or not, white, black, location, income level, career path, Yankees fan or not (very important!), etc.

I finally found my Soul Mate through a personals ad on a website. We lived in different communities but on the same island (20 miles apart). More importantly, our hearts, beliefs, values, sense of humor and general outlooks were very similar. And we knew that before ever meeting.

It was wonderful courtship. We married the next year. And to this day, many years later, we laugh that the first date never ended.

You too can have this experience, when you find a source of like-minded people to start to get to know.

Drew Harris runs single-christiansite.com,a huge source of like-minded people. Don’t date the wrong people ever again. One-stop-shop relationship portal just for Christians. Hundreds of pages on dating, love and marriage. Start building your successful relationship today. http://single-christiansite.com

A huge and growing mobile telephone market following the rule of introducing the next iphone has now made it incredibly hard for folk to compare cell phone offers. Most of the time, there are abounding aspects that individuals may need to look into when making phone comparisons that some of the most prominent ones get overlooked.

As a result, one always end up owning a phone which is either too pricey or a cell phone which is not ideal for your mobile phone call and SMS profile. Hence we tell you here about the two most crucial things that folk should constantly investigate when making cell phone purchases. This might help people land a cell phone that at the very least meets the basic criteria individuals are looking for.

The complete mobile market is booming on the basis of great features like mp3 players that keep getting added every week. On the other hand, a deeply large majority of cell phone customers buy phones based on their appearance, brand image and marvellous marketing only to regret later when mobile phone customers notice that their fabulous hand set lacks a decidedly basic feature like sending emails or video photography. Various marvellous high end cell phones sell on the basis of hype, brand and aesthetics at price tags that are unjustified if you look at the lack of high end features. For e.g. the very latest apple Iphone 3G does not let mobile customers forward messages to all. Unfortunately, Apple Iphones target audience, the youth, gets to regret the absence of this feature only after spending months worth of pocket money on it. And so make sure that your mind-blowing new cell phone has all the features like camcorders you require before tying yourself into a 12 month contract. Since cell phone businesses will never tell people about the fantastic features like interactive maps that their mobile phones lack, researching online mobile articles is the greatest way to do it. Ever heard the saying “Penny-wise and Dollar-foolish”?

Well bargain priced website hosting may just represent the
perfect example of watching a jar full of pennies while bucket
loads of dollars fly out the window!

When I launched my first website (way back in the “dark ages”
of 1997) I paid almost $150 a month in hosting and data
transfer charges. My web host watched how many files I
uploaded like a hawk and always seemed to send their hefty
invoices earlier with each passing month.

I’m obviously not the only one who felt that way, because
suddenly a whole industry of “bargain” web hosts sprang up all
over the web.

On the surface they all sound great, especially when you think
you can go from $150 a month down to $4.95 a month!

Five bucks a month sounds great, until you realize the amount
of data transfer (number of page views) and bandwidth (the
amount of data transfer your host allows in a given period)
you get for that low price potentially hampers your ability to
do business.

This realization – along with a panic attack and a quick
lesson in calculating data transfer and bandwidth – usually
comes at the least convenient time.

When you exceed your limits, a bargain host usually just shuts
you down with no warning. Most webmasters realize they’ve made
a mistake choosing a bargain host when their site suddenly
loads a blank page in the middle of a big promotion traffic
spike.

Believe me, everything just stops!

Here are a few bargain hosts that provide good service, but
you need to carefully check the fine print for how much
bandwidth they allow.

www.FeaturePrice.com For about $24.95 a month you get to host
up to six independent websites with a single account. You get
unlimited data storage, unlimited email and a variety of other
higher end services, but their bandwidth policy seems hard to
understand.

They did shut me down when we had a moderate level of success
even though I paid them an extra $300 to get what they called
“maximum” bandwidth. I was NOT pleased and promptly moved the
site (http://www.7dayebook.com) to another host.

www.HostSave.com Host Save is another low price hosting
company that delivers a wide range of services for only $6.95
per month. They recently raised their allowable data transfer,
but their policy on how much bandwidth you can use at a given
time seems non-existent.

www.DotEasy.com For $25 DotEasy offers a domain name purchase
along with one year’s hosting. Sounds incredible until you
read the fine print to discover they limit you to 1 Gigabyte
of data transfer a month. Not much data once you start getting
reasonable site traffic.

The moral here?

Either prepare to have your business shut down mid-stream if
you get successful, or pay a few extra bucks each month to
ensure you have enough bandwidth and data transfer to operate
without any service interruptions.

At a minimum, specifically ask about and read the fine print
regarding the host’s policies before it’s too late!

Mini Moto Engine

Comments Off

Industrial engines. They are still used by several manufacturers (most notably Blata on their entry level bike) and typically produce between 2.5 and 3.5 horse power (hp). All are air-cooled. Tuning and performance parts are very limited.

The Chinese 47/49cc. These engines are used in the Chinese made mk2, and mk3 minimotos. They are air cooled and produce between 2.5 and 3.5 horse power (hp). This engine is different from the industrial engine that is used in the Blata, as it is specifically created for mini moto use.

Polini 4.2 engine. This is the basic Polini engine and, as it’s name suggests, it produces 4.2 hp in standard form. It is air-cooled and uses the ’series I’ crankcase with the 3-port cylinder. There is plenty of scope and parts for tuning but few people bother because most racing classes for the 4.2 won’t allow any modifications.

Polini 6.2 engine. The top end of this engine is the same as the 4.2 (3-port) but is available with either water or air-cooling. The bottom end uses the ’series II’ crankcase. This helps to make it more powerful. Race regulations don’t allow modification to the engine internals but do allow performance parts, the most significant being the exhaust. There are a wide range of alternative exhausts that year after year manage to extract more power from the engine. Consequently the 6.2 ‘tag’ no longer means anything, these little rockets (more often referred to as ‘production’ nowadays) claim power outputs of up to 9hp.

The Chinese made water cooled engine. This engine is very similar to the Polini 6.2 however it is a series 1 crankcase engine. The engine is water cooled and is used in the Origami B1 replica. The engine produces around 7.5/8.5 horse power (hp) Many of the parts on this engine are interchangeable with the Polini.

What’s the difference between the ’series I’ and ’series II’ crankcase?. Fuel is drawn from the carb into the crankcase via a one-way valve known as the ‘reed valve’. The intake port (where the reed valve and carb join the engine) on the series I engine will only accommodate a reed valve assembly with one reed ‘petal’ whereas the series II will take a reed valve ‘cage’ that accommodates two reed petals. A two-petal reed valve will allow more fuel mixture to flow into the engine and, therefore, produces more power.

Polini Super engine. The super also uses the series two crankcase but with a 5-port cylinder. It is only available in water cooled now but used to come as air cooled as well. To compete with Polini, Mallossi manufacture an alternative 5-port cylinder. There are no restrictions on tuning supers and with engine ‘porting’, bigger carbs and other performance parts they can be turned into awesome machines (for their size) easily producing 12hp.

What is meant by 3 and 5 port?. This refers to the amount of ‘transfer’ ports built into the cylinder. The transfer ports draw the fuel mixture up from the crankcase and ‘dump’ it above the piston prior to ignition. A five-port cylinder has potential to produce more power.

40cc or 50cc. The 3 port engines are only available in 40cc. The 5 port cylinder comes in both 40 and 50cc. ZPF offer a tuned 5-port polini cylinder with their own ’special’ cylinder head. The extra cc gives 25% more displacement and, therefore, has the potential for more power. 50’s are more common in the USA but they’re catching on fast in the UK. The UK now allows them to race in championships.

The Polini engine components are interchangeable, which can make for some interesting combinations. However, people don’t tend to bother because of class restrictions and it is usually easier to upgrade the whole bike or change the complete engine.

Arenas get jammed pack all across the world because people just love to watch their favorite person or group perform their music. It can be a solo artist, a rock and roll band, a symphony orchestra, or even a famous d.j, people just love to watch them live. I think it has to do with the fact that when we do our daily lives the music becomes part of what we are doing.

Let’s say that you are at the gym after taking Acceletrim’s weight loss product and you are in a specialized exercise class. The teacher has your favorite band playing and you end up feeling great after the class. You then associate the band with feeling good. Once this happens then the band is more popular with you and when they come to town, you are defiantly going to go see them live. You know all of the lyrics, all of the drum sounds, piano sounds, guitar sounds, and you love it. When you see them live you are with hundreds, if not thousands of other people who love this band too. You are all there sharing this wonderful experience and seeing this live makes it real to you. The band is larger than life and they affect not only your life in a positive way, but thousands of other people too. Going to live music shows is highly recommended and can make for an amazing time.

If you are new to keeping snakes then I suggest you talk to snake keepers, pets shops that specialize in reptiles and read as much as possible. You should also understand that it will cost money to set yourself up properly to care for your reptile. Our home page has snake cage plans designed to help you save money but there are other costs such as lighting, heat mats & lamps, thermostats, thermometers, heating & lighting power costs, accessories, substrates and food.

Pet snakes generally fall into three categories, based on the environment from which they came. The cages that you house your pet in will depend on that environment. The most common of these types is the terrestrial, those that prefer solid ground and live and hunt in that environment. The other common types are arboreal snakes (tree snakes) and semi aquatic snakes (water snakes).

Many people house their snakes in converted aquariums but these are generally not the best place to house a snake. The glass does not insulate well and consequently loses heat easily and quickly. Smaller reptiles adapt quite well to this sort of environment and the heating costs are not really an issue as the tanks are smaller.

Acrylic cages are common and are quite a good alternative. They are easily washed and lightweight. The better ones can be expensive, depending on their size and options. It is generally a lot more expensive to make moulds for large shapes.

Wooden snake and reptile cages are widely used. This is for a number of reasons:

Easy to construct at home as people already have many of the tools needed

Timber has good insulation properties; this reduces heat loss and also saves heating costs

Materials are readily available

Can be altered to suit the owner’s preferences

You will need to provide at least 3/4 square foot of living area per foot of snake housed within. This means that for cages measuring 2ft deep (wide) the length of the cage is roughly 2/3 the length of the snake to be housed in it i.e. 4ft snake has a 3ft x2ft cage, a 6ft snake requires a min 4ft x 2ft cage etc.

Snake cages also need to be secure. Ideally your snake cage should be lockable to prevent people removing your animal without your presence and risking the chance of being bitten or in the case of a large reptile, potentially injuring or preventing fatalities in the case of young children.

This is even more true of venomous snakes. If you are new to snake keeping or have little experience then you should not consider a venomous snake. Only keepers with a lot of experience keep venomous snakes and even then not many.

Your snake cage will also need to be ventilated. The ventilation should allow a free flow of air through the snake enclosure, without being too much. Snakes have a low metabolic rate and hence do not require a massive air flow.

The vents for your snake enclosure will need to be made from plastic, rather than metal to prevent abrasions.

You will also need to clean your snake’s cage thoroughly at least once a month, including disinfecting the floors, to keep your snake healthy and in good condition.

Snakes regulate their temperature in the wild based on a variety of factors and they need to be able to do so in the artificial environment you provide. Your cage will need a temperature gradient and adequate provision for the snake to regulate its temperature.

You may also have to regulate the humidity of your cage, depending on the type of snake you keep. Snakes from tropical environments require high levels of humidity to remain healthy.

Heating can be provided in a number of ways, for example heat lamps (incandescent bulbs) and heat mats. You need to monitor and regulate the temperature of you snake cage in a number of locations in order to keep you r snake comfortable. If you use incandescent globes, make sure they are not able to be accidentally touched by the snake. As lizards do not have the ability to stretch out to heat lamps as easily, this is generally not an issue.

Snakes requiring humidity will require that you measure the humidity and maintain it be between 40 and 70 percent, in order to provide the optimal environment for your snake.

Humidity gauges and thermometers should be placed at multiple locations within the snake housing to monitor the temperatures and humidity throughout.

For arboreal species, you need to provide plenty of branches of different types and sizes in the snake cage. Other decorations and cage accessories such as rock formations, hollow logs, or other hiding areas should be placed at different temperature locations within the enclosure.

The snake cage will also require a substrate (base material). There are a wide range of these such as Aspen shavings, commercially available substrates designed for snakes newspaper and recycled paper material such as kitty litter.

You will also need a sturdy ceramic or plastic water bowl in your snake cages. They need to have a flat base and be reasonable wide as snakes and reptiles will move around freely and knock poor water containers over. The water containers should be at both the warmer and cooler ends of the cage. Some species of snake like to have a larger water container that enable them to immerse themselves.

You may also need to provide a UV light, such as Zoo Med’s Reptisun 5UVB, to assist you snake with the production of vitamins. Not all snakes require this so you need to check on your particular snake’s requirements. Many species of lizards and skinks do require these UV lights to produce vitamin D so it is best to make sure of your animals requirements when setting up an enclosure.
