I have noticed recently that there are tons of Rockabilly girls getting some great tattoo work done. They are getting themes like swallow tattoos, or nautical stars, and even cherries. These are all very classic and great looking tattoo designs. Many of them will work wonderful in combination with each other. For example a large chest piece tattoo design that incorporates two swallows on either side of a sacred heart with some nautical star tattoos to round out the design!

These work so well and are becoming so popular among this group of rockabilly women because they hark back to the time period of the 1950s and especially have the look and feel of Sailor Jerry type of tattoo designs.

This trend of course started with the now very popular West Coast tattoo style that at it’s heart takes older tattoo designs and recolors them with new vibrant splashes of brightly colored ink. So taking old Sailor Jerry tattoo designs and redoing them with new bright ink colors not only has a great retro look and theme but also are becoming very popular tattoo designs for women.

All three of these designs have great symbolism behind them also. Sailors are a very superstitious lot by nature and would do anything to come home alive. They often would look for signs or clues to help them navigate their way home. Over the years these signs have turned into symbols for luck, safe travel, and returning home! For example the swallow tattoo is a symbol for returning home safely. Swallow birds can not fly very far from land and so when a sailor at sea spots a swallow bird he knows that land is close by and therefore home. So the swallow and therefore the swallow tattoo is a symbolism for returning home.
Stars were also used frequently by sailors to navigate their way home and a nautical star is a symbol of this.

Creating and Factoring. Structured Settlement Planners and Brokers assist injury victims and lawsuit winners in the process of structuring a financial settlement to pay out over time in a manner best suited to meeting future financial needs. Structured Settlement Factors assist individuals receiving payments over time from a structured settlement in the process of restructuring the payout, usually obtaining an immediate lump sum at a discounted rate.

Wherever you are in the process, there is a wealth of information available on the internet to help you on your way. www.settlementplanners.org is a great resource “to assist injury victims, claimants and attorneys in resolving their legal financial claims, and to advocate the injury victims’ right to choose settlement planning advisors and financial and guarantee providers.” Their efforts reach all the way to Washington DC, standing in the political and legal arena for the rights of claimants to have the best possible access to financial compensation. The NSSTA is also on the creation side of structured settlements advancing “the use of structured settlements as a means of using periodic payments to resolve personal injury claims, workers compensation, and other types of claims.”

The Factoring side is represented by a handful of funding companies and an army of factoring brokers. While there is a larger organization, referred to as NASP, considered to be the watchdog of the industry, there is very limited information on the organization itself. Structured Settlement factors provide “cash now” for future payments, in essence, restructuring or in some cases, dismantling, the previously approved payout in exchange for a lump sum of cash sooner. The services provided can be timely in the case of dire financial need, but the steep discount is a major drawback for those considering their options. Go to www.ProsperityPartners.com for more information.

Two very different industries, both offering a service to the same group of people, from opposite sides of the product. One group creates structured settlements in the best interests of claimants, the other group factors the current payout to meet immediate financial needs. Whichever service you need, there is plenty of information on the internet to help you along the way.

Starting any type of business takes dedication, perseverance,
effort and most of all a good knowledge about the business you are setting up. You wouldn’t start a motor repair business
without the training and knowledge required. Starting any business requires knowledge of the product and market place.

1. Read and Research

Ensure you have all the necessary information to start building your home business. Research the demand for your product. Do all the checks on legal requirements in your area. Prepare a business plan, including a budget and stick to it. But most of all, ask yourself are you prepared to commit time and effort to your business. Don’t for one moment think you can put your site on the web and sit back and wait for a miracle. This is when the work really starts.

2. Choosing A Domain Name and Host

Ideally the Domain Name should reflect the type of business, service or product you are selling. Alternatively, you may wish to use your own name or business name. Make the name as short as possible, long names are difficult to remember and are often misspelt. There are some great web hosting companies, I use two,
but for my main site I chose Third Sphere as they offer so much more than just hosting and when I was just starting out, I needed all the help I could get my hands on.

3. Website Design

If you are not a web designer and would like to design your own website, there are some great tutorials, guides and programs that can make the task a lot easier. For example, Site Build It offer a wonderful product that really guides you every step of the way.

Alternatively there are tutorials such as eBusiness Mastery by Paul Barrs. This is a great product for beginners, it is like having your own tutor right by your side.

Or you may prefer a book such as Website Design Made Easy by Dennis Gaskill, this book is widely used in colleges throughout America.

I have used all three of these products in building my business and websites.

Whatever you decide, make sure your site loads quickly and check that it loads correctly on a couple of different web browsers, such as Internet Explore, Mozilla Firefox and Netscape.

4. Submitting your Site

Before you actually submit your site to the Search Engines, please check and recheck your content for spelling errors and ensure all your links work.

Ensure you have the best possible keywords and content description to ensure maximum Search Engine optimization. There are many reports and ebooks on this topic alone, you will find free information on this subject so don’t pay until you have to.

A lot of Web Hosting Companies such as Third Sphere have a Search Engine Submission service, this makes the task really simple.

You will also need to decide whether or not you are going to pay for submitting your site to some Search Engines such as Yahoo. This can be quite costly, so do your homework first, before spending any money.

5. Advertising and Promoting your Site

There are some great ways to promote your site. You can use the pay per click type of advertising with Google, for example. Advertising in ezines using either free or paid ads is another very good way to get your site and products promoted.

Also, do not overlook the “power of the press”, it is still a great way to get your message out there.

Local papers, magazines relating to your industry are worth a try. But, keep a close check on results – track where your customers are coming from – then you can decide which advertising method is best for your business.

Another very effective way is to write your own articles. You can use one on the many article and ezine submission services, such as submityourarticle.com, this is one of Steve Shaw’s marketing systems.

And a free and often under utilized way to get your name out there – add your signature to all your emails! Including your URL.

6. Don’t be fooled!

You have no doubt read that you can now sit back and your business will run on its own, automatically, like magic! Not true! A good Autoresponder can certainly make life easier, but you have to feed it with prospects first!

You have to start building your subscriber list, if your particular business needs to send out mailings. I’ve tried buying subscribers from list generating companies, but in all honesty if you want really good subscribers who are really interested in your products, you have to do the work.

Another thing I found with buying subscriber lists, you really are fooling yourself into thinking you have a list of people who have subscribed to your list because they are truly interested in your product only. This is usually not the case. So as I mentioned previously, you have options -

Advertising, writing articles, plus another couple of strategies such as Link Exchanging and participating in Forums will all help.

So, No you can’t sit back and wait for the dollars to roll in, you have to put in the effort first.

Finally, the best advice I would give anyone starting a business and using the internet in their business is this:

Read all you can on your topic of interest – DO NOT get your credit card out unless you are convinced the product/information you are buying is what YOU need, not what someone else tells you you want.

In the words of Jim Rohn … “Let the views of others educate and inform you, but let your decisions be a product of your own conclusions”

Follow these simple tips and advice and you are bound to reap rewards.

Joan Maughan CEO of Summerset Global Marketing.

“Joan’s previous experience in business has been in the accounting and secretarial fields. Deciding to setup a business from home led her to research fields of interest. As part of this research she discovered the many pitfalls, but also found that there are a lot of people wanting good honest, reliable products and advice”.

Her website and newsletter provide this and the website is regularly updated as new and up-to-date information comes to hand. She strives to bring quality products, advice and assistance, especially to new home business owners.

With the vast selection of styles, models and manufacturers in the vacuum cleaner industry it can become a little overwhelming on where to start looking for the right vacuum for your specific cleaning needs. The following information should help give you a starting point and speed up your search in getting the right vacuum.

Deep Cleaning Vacuums (or steam vacuums):

Typical features on a deep cleaning vacuum include rotating brushes that agitate the carpet pile and loosen the dirt for a more thorough clean; on hard floor surfaces the rotating brushes gently scrub the floor clean. Some models have a handy automatic tool conversion button or switch that you push/flip as you move from carpeted surfaces to hard floor surfaces or vice versa.

The most common use for a deep cleaning vacuum is for the removal of carpet stains, hot water and the cleaning solution are pushed deep into the carpet to extract the stain. Special nozzles can be attached to make it more effective. When the job is complete you just empty the container, most models are equipped with a handy one hand tank removal.
Deep cleaning frequency: If you take a scheduled approach to cleaning your carpets they will look cleaner longer. Clean entrances every 4-6 weeks, bedrooms about every 8 weeks, main traffic areas every 12 weeks, clean the entire house every 15 months.

Hand Held Vacuums:

Hand held vacuums are light weight, can be either corded or cordless and most can be mounted on a wall. Cordless performance depends a lot on the charge of the battery, as the battery power drops so does the suction power. Two styles of hand held vacuums include; straight suction or suction with a power brush to agitate the carpet or upholstery for a deeper clean, this works very well on pet hair. Other available attachments include: a brush for upholstery, crevice tool, extension wand and a switch to lock the machine in the on position.
If you are considering a hand held vacuum determine its primary purpose, will it be used occasionally on small jobs or part of a regular cleaning schedule. Determining this will better guide you to selecting the right model.

Broom Vacuums:

Broom vacuums or stick vacuums are ideal for small apartments, those quick clean ups in the kitchen, bathroom or family room. The benefit of a broom vacuum is its light weight, if you have trouble pushing your heavier standard upright, this may come as welcome relief. You have the option of getting your vacuum corded or cordless, allowing you the freedom to roam around the house spot cleaning. The light weight, usually just 2lbs.-7lbs, allows you to easily store the unit in the closet taking up minimal space.

For quick, convenient disposal of dirt and debris most models are bagles.
Broom/stick vacuums work great on those small jobs but they just don’t have the power or capacity to clean larger homes, however they are a great companion to your regular size vacuum cleaner. If you have never owned a broom/stick vacuum you might be surprised at how often and useful you find it.

Wet/Dry Vacuums:

Wet/Dry vacuums may be the most versatile vacuum cleaner on the market, with numerous attachments and functions it is handy appliance to have around the house. Canister sizes can vary greatly from the smaller 6 gallon to the larger 22 gallon. Horsepower ranges from about 2 H.P. up to 10 H.P. Try to match the size of unit to the size of the job and the frequency of use. Some beneficial features to look for in a wet/dry vacuum include:

Pleated Cartridge Filter: These filters will save you time and money. Just pull it out when it’s full of dust and rinse it off with water. Wheel Base: Make sure your machine has a wide wheel base, this will help stop it from tipping over, and they generally pull easier.
Drain Valve: To make it easier to empty liquids some units have a drain valve or nozzle located at the bottom of the canister.

Auto shut-off: This sensor has the ability to tell when your vacuum is full of water and automatically turn off the motor.
Some of the tools you can add to a wet/dry vacuum cleaner include: a scrubbing brush, crevice tool, water nozzle, combination nozzle (wet & dry), extension wand, cleaning kits and some larger models have the ability to attach a leaf blower.

Upright Vacuums:

One of the most common features of an upright model is the bagles system. In addition to increased performance, there is no need to purchase any bags saving you time and money. Emptying the bagles canister can be a little dusty.

Some bagged upright vacuums feature a full-bag alert which will notify you when the bag is getting to full. Both bagged and bagles styles may offer a dirt sensor that notifies you when there is a certain level of particles in the air stream indicating there is still some dirt not being sucked up into the bag. An on/off switch for the power brush is good safety feature to have in case the vacuum accidentally gets pulled over your feet or cord as you focus on using the attachments.

Most upright models come with a standard set of attachments that may include an upholstery tool, a crevice tool and an extension wand. A retractable cord, manual or automatic pile-height adjustment are two more handy features. Some vacuums allow the dirt to be sucked through the bag initially before it reaches the fan, other systems have the dirt goes through the fan first then to the bag, this may damage the fan. A HEPA filter is another common feature found on upright vacuum cleaners.

Canister Vacuums:

Retractable cords are common on canister vacuums and considering most cords are around 25 feet in length this handy feature helps from having to drag the cord around and possibly damaging furniture. A push of a button or slight tug on the cord will retract it into the vacuums canister.
The nozzle is usually one of two types, a suction nozzle or a power nozzle. To thoroughly clean the carpet it is recommended that you use the power nozzle which will agitate the carpet and loosen up the dirt for a deeper cleaning.

Another feature to look for on a canister vacuum is a suction-control switch; this allows you to adjust the airflow for cleaning delicate material like drapery and upholstery. Some handle grips also have an automatic shut off should you loose your grip and let go of the handle.
Pile-height adjustment is another feature that may be offered on a canister vacuum. Being able to match the height of the vacuum to the height of the carpet will improve cleaning. Automatic pile-height adjustment does not seem to work as effective as manually adjusting the height of the vacuum cleaner.

I hope this information helps to narrow down your search to the style of vacuum cleaner that is best suited for your cleaning needs. Next you just need to compare the different manufacturers’ models and features in your price range.

Your thoughts are the currencies with which you exchange energy with the universe

Do you believe that your thoughts have energy? Do you believe that a place or an object can retain the energy of the people that have come into contact with it? If you have ever entered an old home and sensed the presence of its previous occupants, or held an antique item in your hands and felt the history of it, then you know the answers.

Scientists are just beginning to accept the truth about thought energy, and have begun to study what many have known for centuries. In fact some of today’s leading scientists in areas of physics, biology, psychology and many other fields are starting to recognize the importance of thought energy.

Positive thought energy in the form of collective meditation has been scientifically proven to reduce violent crime!

In 1993 a study encouraged by one the world’s leading physicists was undertaken in Washington D.C to determine if focused meditation could have an effect on that city’s crime rate. The results were astonishing. During the weeks that several volunteers meditated, crime rates fell dramatically by 25 percent! This was no accident. This was scientifically validated and proven to be an effective means of countering the criminal inclinations of a very large group of people…an entire city in fact.

All life is energy.

Thoughts have energy. Negative thoughts create negative events. Positive thoughts create positive results. The energy of thought is either stored in physical structures or is transmitted into the universe, it never dies. Consider what this means. Think about the ramifications.

Where did the clothes you are wearing come from, who made them?
Were they manufactured by depressed and impoverished people working in appalling conditions for weeks to make the same amount of money that you spend on a cup of coffee in the morning?

Who built the car that you drive?
Was it built by disgruntled and tired factory workers? Where some of those workers alcoholics? Did some of them leave work, go home, beat their wives and children and build your car the next morning?

Who built the house that you live in?

Who came into contact with the food that you ate today?

Starting to get the picture? Everything we come into contact with can hold the thought energy of other people. Even the air that we breathe carries the thought energy of those it surrounds.

What were the thoughts that have been injected into every part of your life?
How much has the thought energy of others affected you?

Every thought interacts with the energy of the universe. Negative thought looks for other negatives thought energies to bind with. Eventually a matrix of negative thought energy is created and forms a thought wave. These powerful negative thought waves manifest themselves in our lives in the form of poverty, crime, war, plagues and natural disasters. Negative energy creates a vacuum, it detracts from the life giving nature of the universe Negative thought waves come in many sizes and have been known by many names, bad luck, misfortune, disaster, evil, curses, etc. Call them what you will, the source of their energy is the same. The source is us.

Positive thought energy also seeks out other positive energies. If you are a source of positive thought energy, positive and beneficial energy will return to you in many wonderful and unexpected ways. Positive thought energy creates a surplus; it is the surplus of positive thought energy that allows for the creation of life.

You are the source and creator of all things. Everything that happens in your life has a direct connection with the type of energy that you are charging the universe with.
You alone are responsible for the type of energy created by your life.

Becoming aware of the power of your own thoughts is the most important step in understanding how to handle the adverse influence of the negative thought of others.
Knowing the value of positive thought energy allows us to become sensitive to negative energy. We begin to notice it in our own speech, we see it in our relationships, and we notice it in others.

Being aware is the key. Once we are aware of the negative thought energy in our lives we can take measures to eliminate it and replace it with beneficial, healing energy.
It is as simple as noticing it and dismissing it with our minds. A thought enters our mind that we recognize as negative, we simply dismiss it. By dismissing negativity we take away its power by not allowing it to manifest further negativity in our lives.

There are of course many other techniques available to combat negative thought energy and create positive abundance in our lives; including focused meditation among others.
The critical first step however is simply being aware of the existence and effects of these energies. Hopefully this brief article has helped you to allow that first step to be taken.

I have been around the internet for quite sometime offering outsourced services and software products. I see a lot of internet marketing techniques on how to get more traffic and attract more paying customers, but only one technique seemed to work for me considering my tight budget.

So what is this technique?

This technique is called free content article marketing or free-reprint article marketing. It is basically writing an article with topics covering your products/services. The main idea of this is to keep your article ratio at 70% quality and useful information/tips to 30% advertisement. The 30% advertisement refers to your bylines or the resource box at the end of each article.

Your bylines or “about the author” content is the key to article marketing. This is the part where you can make yourself as an expert in your field, the part where you can ask readers to visit your site and the part where you can mention what you offer and do.

I already wrote an article, what now?

Is your article optimized?

Optimizing your article is always the first thing to remember. There are lots of ways to optimize an article, but let me share to you mine.

Before writing an article think of a keyword, be sure to include that keyword in your title. Make those search engines love your article by first optimizing your title.

Do not quote your title! Search engines will not like it, for example, “Five Ways to Effectively Market your Product”. Get rid of the quotes!

If possible put the keyword first in your title, for example, European Cruise – You Deserve Only the Best.

When your title is ready, try to spread your keyword several times all over your article. Try to keep a decent keyword density and do not try to spam the search engines.

Do not sacrifice your credibility for optimization. Some authors are fond of inserting dots between words that are considered as spam. Just like the word “free”. If you are trying to sell a product or service make yourself credible and your articles professional.

Ok I’m set! Now what?

Submit your article to article directories and article announcement lists. There are hundreds, if not thousands of article announcement lists and article directories. Article directories is where you can let your articles reside and Article Announcement lists announce your articles to a variety of targeted audience.

Here are a few article directories you can use:

http://www.isnare.com
http://ezinearticles.com
http://articlecity.com
http://ideamarketers.com

There are thousands of article announcement list, is there a site to do the submissions for me?

Yes, indeed there are sites that do the submissions for you, but there is a payment for each article you send or if not, a monthly payment.

Try checking these sites for Article Announcement offers:

http://www.isnare.com/pbenefits.php – Distribute as many articles as you can for $35/month with an option to request for proofreading before distributing your article.

http://thephantomwriters.com – Amount depends on the number of articles you distribute

There is no such thing as free debt consolidation services. To the contrary, the services that offer free debt consolidation have hidden fees and interest rates attached to their schemes in most instances. The lenders or debt services are sponsors of the exact same people who you owe money. Therefore, the services in most instances are paid by these creditors and are waiting to make extra money off the person suffering.

Debt is a cruel and vicious cycle; and in most cases, people are overcharged for products, services, and support. Many companies are out to make money, instead of helping people survive. I personally knew a company that charged four times the amount the product was purchased for; and this company continues to grow, leeching their customers’ surplus everyday.

Therefore, if you are in debt, don’t feel like you are a failure; rather get up and fight for your rights. Free debt consolidation service could mean free quotes, or else free first-time sessions with counselors. The services guaranteed will have a charge attached, unless you land with a company out to help people get back on track without burying them deeper in debt.

One of the better services for debt consolidation is United Way and its affiliates, which include a number of Credit Unions. Anyone affiliated with the government also will help in most instances without jacking you for more money. If the services are affiliated with the government, you better believe they will be towing the line, since the government’s privacy is at stake.

Therefore, if you need free debt consolidation services, seek out the companies that affiliate themselves with the government. And if you’d rather go directly to the source-the government-you can find more information about free debt consolidation on various government websites on the Internet.

So did that grab your attention, yes of course it did. Where you are right now call out , “hey”, and I am quite sure you will get a reaction, if there is no one around I bet you the dog will react.

So, what is the point?

If you are a internet marketer today, you need to literally shout out to your potential readers to get their attention. Your ad or email is going to be between hundreds of others, and if you are not going to say, “hey read me”, it will just end up in the trash.

By failing to do this, quite honestly, all your advertising efforts will be going down the drain, while your costs are escalating. Not the position you want to be in if you are planning to make any money.

Back to our calling exercise. As soon as you grab the readers attention with your headline, you have to follow it up. Keeping quiet or saying something stupid will have them gone in a flash.

When writing your headline the following is important.

Your headline must be an attention grabber. I know you have heard this a million times over, so that is why I am telling you again….and again. It is, and will always be the most important part of your ad.

Now that we have established that little point for the umpteenth time, how in the world do you go about achieving this?

One simple way is to look at the headlines of your competitors. Look at one line ad’s on web pages, headlines on sales pages, FFA pages and the emails you received.

Do this experiment with yourself, look for web pages that have one line ad’s. You will find many of them around where you can place your ad for free.

As the page opens just look at the ad that grabs your attention first, and write it down. But just use the one you saw first on each page.

Do this on about twenty different pages and you will have twenty headlines that really grabbed your attention, which in effect means that it would also grab the attention of many other people.

Now for the hard part, if you want a winning headline you are going to have to put in some work.

With these headlines before you write 30, yes at least 30 of your own headlines, either all your own words or combinations of the words and ideas you find in the 20 headlines. Remember, do not use a headline as is, it belongs to someone else.

Good, you have created your own 30 unique headlines, now for some fun time, call the dog show it to him, and go have a walk outside. You need this time and space to clear your mind and take a rest.

When, done sit down and critically read every single one of your headlines and judge them against the following criteria:

Does it say hey? Is it different to all the others you have read so far? Does it say what your product is about? Do you want to read on once you have read it? Is it exiting you?

Score each one as you read through them until you find the perfect one. You might not find it with the first read through but keep on going. Do a little bit of tweaking here and there and you will find your winning headline.

Remember not to delete the ones you are not happy with. You are not quite finished yet.

Which brings us to the second part of the headline above, “yes you” also referred to as the sub-headline. Here you need to involve the reader personally, as if this is written for only him or her. To achieve this you need to make a statement or pose a question that will arouse interest and keep them reading to the end of your message.

From your list of headlines you wrote you can now choose a sub-headline that would fit neatly with your headline. Let me explain this with an example.

Headline: “The quick and easy way to create your own money generating viral products”

Sub-headline: “You can get started in as little as 5 minutes on the road to financial freedom by using this simple 10 step formula.”

I know this was a long and hard slog to get to this point, but if you put the effort in, you will be rewarded. Now the dog has been staring at you for the whole time you spent in front of the computer, give it some loving attention.

Happy writing!

1. Balance – You want to find a directory rich in many different categories of products rather than the quantity of products available. Many of the directories try to advertise how many products are available in their directory (i.e. 500,000 products). Why is the number of categories important? A directory will not serve you well if it has hundreds of thousands of products, and none of them are in your product interest category. A directory with a good balance has focused on their categories of drop shipper products rather than the quantity. This gives you a better chance of finding something for your line of business.

2. Uniqueness – You will want a directory with uniqueness amongst it’s drop shippers. The drop shippers should offer a wide array of unique products that are not necessarily mass marketed. Why? Web sites offering unique and unusual products often do well on the Web versus sites trying to sell big brand name products that you can find with a mega retailer such as Wal-Mart. A directory offering a bunch of big brand name product drop shippers could land you in the highly competitive commodity market against the mega retailers.

3. Selection – A directory with a good selection of drop ship categories is important. The number of drop shippers or the number of products a directory carries should not be the goal. The goal and question should be, “Do they have a drop shipper that would fit my line of business?” A common mistake for many folks is getting fixated on the quantity of products a directory might offer with it’s drop shippers. The question they start to ask is, “A directory with over 1,000,000 products ought to have something for me to sell.” Wrong! Be sure to remember the first parameter we mentioned. Balance.

4. Search Method – The directory must explain the methods they use to find drop shippers. Be careful of directories that do not publish their search methods. If they do not explain their search methods, they may not have a solid search methodology. The directory could be full of a bunch of middlemen. At that point, the directory would be worthless to you. Directories using search methods such as trade show searches and foreign government agency searches are preferred over directories only focused on Internet searches. Why? Not all drop shippers and importers have a Web presence. A directory based on a bunch of Web searches could be missing some of the best hard-to-find drop shippers.

5. Sample – A sample of the directory should be made available to give an idea of format and information provided. The actual names of the drop shippers will not be given in a sample, but you will get an understanding of the type of information provided.

6. Price – This is a subjective parameter but there is something to consider. As an observation, most legitimate directories on the Web today are sold between the $60 and $100 price mark without any markdown. If you find one good drop shipper in a directory and you sell their products on your site, you could find your directory investment paid off quickly with just a sale or two.

7. Education – The company selling the directory should have a website fairly resourceful with FAQ’s and articles written by it’s own research staff or owner. Topics should include drop shipping, ecommerce, importing and general FAQ’s about drop shipping. Watch out for directory sites only containing FAQ’s about their directory and not drop shipping.

8. Custom Search – Find out if the company offering the directory will do a custom search for a drop shipped product. A custom search can sometimes be done under certain conditions with the directory’s parent company. As of this writing, Hienote is the only directory company advertising this type of service.

9. Toll Free Number – You should be able to talk to the folk’s offering the directory without paying for the call. Contact by email only is not acceptable! Also, be leery of directory sites without a toll free numbers or only a cell phone number given as this could be a suspicious con artist.

10. Customer Service – Any online business that cares about its customers should have a section dedicated to customer service. A company that offers a drop ship directory is no exception. It should have a section of it’s site dedicated to customer service. At a minimum it should have a toll free number, mailing address (not just a P.O. Box number!), email address, hours of operation, and a phone number for calls outside of the country.

11. Money Back Guarantee – A money back guarantee is always important to have with a directory. You want a way of getting your money back if the directory does not live up to it’s promise. Be sure to examine the guarantee policy.

With these eleven parameters you should now have have enough knowledge to get you started in the right direction for evaluating a drop ship directory. In addition, hopefully this has given some food for thought in terms of considering a drop ship directory for your online business.
