It is with amazing clarity that I uncovered the following life-changing revelation. It caused me to put together this formula because it is so powerful that it allows me to accomplish anything I so desire. Let me ask you the following question, Is not true belief just another term for Passion? When someone believes something strong enough they develop a true passion for making it happen. This is what separates just knowing something to be possible and having a real passion to make it a reality. For instance most sales people know that the more people they talk to the greater their number of sales will be. But until they develop the passion to actually start talking to more people their sales will stay the same.

A golfer can actually believe that practice will make his game better but until they become passionate about improving their game it won’t improve.

The leading trainers of top name athletes and business leaders all say the same thing.

The best predictor of success is the degree of passion the person has.

Knowing this, is it not possible to build our level of passion - thus guaranteeing our success? You bet it is. Thus like a muscle in the body if you constantly work that muscle it will continue to grow stronger. If you constantly practice a skill you will get better and better at that skill.

This makes the solution very simple - we simply learn to develop passion for doing the skills necessary to bring us success.

If we know what we must do to gain success, than it is as simple as developing a passion to perform those tasks that create our success. And the great thing is we will learn to love doing those tasks.

The first step is to define the actions necessary to create the success we desire.

So as an example let’s define the following:

What actions bring us the most success in our business. Of course the key to success is exposing our business to as many people as possible. What activities if performed on a consistent basis will bring us great success.

So we would do two things - we would define what actions bring us our most success and we would devise split tests to determine not only which of version of our methods work best but also to determine, which of our methods actually is producing our biggest results

So for example we might record on paper the following goal:

Expose our business to as many people as possible through one of the above methods.

Simply taking action is the first step in solving the problem of how to create anything you want in Life.

After all just knowing how to do something and actually being able to do it are two horses of a different color so to speak.

But this is an important first step and one that seems very simple and yet the majority of people live their whole lives and never discover this amazing revelation.

Knowing this concept, the next step to solving this problem is How do we create this unshakeable self-confidence, the kind of unwavering belief that moves mountains and allows a person to get the girl (or boy if they happen to be a girl) and create for themselves the kind of life that others only dream about?

A hate to ruin the story and give to you the last page of the book here, but the way to achieving unwaverable self-confidence and belief is simply creating a goal of something you have never done before and than accomplishing that goal.

But first in order to accomplish our goals we must define them.

Here in various areas of your life define goals you want to accomplish and than define them by writing them down.

Then simply believe everyday you are going to meet your goals. Do something everyday to build your belief muscle. When you believe people have a great habit of saying yes to you.

Practice your belief level everyday.

Everyday embed in your subconscious mind that you believe you can do whatever you want to do. Think and act like you have already achieved your goal. This builds your level of belief. Every day tell yourself I know I can do this!

Here is what I would advise if you are new to this habit of establishing goals and writing them on paper. - Start with 1-2 goals that you are really interested in. Goals that if achieved will help you to better accomplish other goals or a goal of something that you really want badly.

Now this next part is what really helped me in accomplishing goals, by removing the roadblocks in front of me.

Upon defining that goal or goals the next step is to do a brainstorming exercise in the following area. Write down 20 things on paper that you believe are items or thoughts, or beliefs that are currently holding you back from accomplishing your goal or goals.

Next focus on what you consider the top 1-3 limitations that are holding you back from achieving your goals.

Now here is what I find exciting. Normally a person will have a couple of major hang-ups (limitations) that are preventing them from accomplishing their major goals in life. So by eliminating these limitations you basically eliminate the vast percentage of road blocks that stand in the way of you meeting all your other goals.

So what I suggest a person do is to set goals to remove these major limitations from their life. Making the obtainment of their other goals much easier.

And of course take some defined action everyday to remove these limitations from your life.

But the best part is simply the process of identifying the ”hangups and limitations” that are holding you back is half the battle.

Why learn about medicinal plants? Certainly, backpackers shouldn’t leave the first aid kit home, but it can be useful and interesting to know a few plant medicines too. Whether you are someday in a survival situation, or you just lost your first aid kit and have a terrible headache, wouldn’t it be nice to find relief nearby?

You can. There are many effective medicinal plants. Some are also dangerous, of course, just like synthetic medicines can be. I won’t discuss those here. This is a quick guide to a few safe plant medicines.

Plants For Pain Relief

Fill the bottom of a cup with shredded willow bark, and make a cup of tea with it. Let it steep for a few minutes before you drink it. The active ingredient is salicin, closely related to salacylic acid, which is used to make aspirin. You can also try chewing on a few balsam poplar buds.

Antiseptic Plants

Sap from “blisters” on balsam firs is a strong antiseptic. Pop the blisters on the trunks of young trees, and the sap will ooze out. You can spread it over cuts and small wounds to prevent infection. It is very sticky, however, and it will be difficult to wash off (at least it smells nice).

The crushed leaves of Saint John’s Wort can be used as an antiseptic dressing as well. I once put a wad of the mashed leaves on a nasty gash in my foot, replacing it occasionally, and the cut healed faster than I’ve ever seen a cut heal. St. Johnswort has anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties.

Medicinal Plants For Diarrhea

You can drink tea made from the roots of blackberries and their relatives to stop diarrhea. Just fill the bottom of the cup with the cleaned and shredded roots and pour boiling water over them. Let the mix steep for five minutes before drinking.

Oak bark and other barks containing tannin are also effective. I have also used the twigs to stop diarrhea when I was backpacking in Mexico. Make tea with a spoonful of the bark or chopped-up twigs. Tannins can be hard on the kidneys, so drink just one cup of tea, or use oak only if you don’t have other options.

Skin Medications

You can relieve the itch from insect bites, sunburn, or plant poisoning rashes by applying a poultice of jewelweed (Impatiens biflora). I have seen a poison ivy rash cleared up overnight using the juice from jewelweed. It is also said to work on sunburn as well as aloe vera.

Make a tea of witch hazel leaves (Hamamelis virginiana), and you can use it for relief from insect bites, and sunburn. Witch Hazel used to be a common astringent that women used as a “tightening” face wash.

There are hundreds of wild medicinal plants that could be useful to hikers and backpackers. You don’t need to become an expert to benefit from them. Just learn to identify and use a few of the most widespread and safest ones.

Q: I was contacted by the city tax collector to say that my business is scheduled to be audited to see if I owe sales tax on items purchased on the Internet. Can they really make me pay sales tax on internet purchase? I thought you could buy things online tax free?

A: Sorry, but your local municipality is well within its rights to audit your business to identify items purchased online. The city can also demand payment of sales tax on those items if sales tax was not previously paid. Don’t be surprised if the auditor asks for access to your books and to see purchase receipts and invoices for at least the past year.

One of my companies recently underwent such an audit and it really was not as painful as you might think. Being a software company, the majority of our online purchases were for computer equipment, technical manuals, and software development tools. Since we purchase computers from a large supplier who collects sales tax at the point of sale (ditto for the development tools), the only sales tax we ended up owing was for an inordinate number of technical manuals and books purchased at Amazon.com.

If your small business is like most, the majority of your large purchases are made locally from companies that already collect sales tax. Furniture and computer equipment are typically the largest ticket items a small business buys, so unless you bought your desks and computers off of Ebay (which is highly possible these days) you should be OK.

Internet sales taxation has been a topic of contention even before Amazon sold its first book and Priceline booked its first flight. One of the more controversial points is that no one, including our own government, seems to have a clue how to implement a fair and logical Internet taxation process. With over 7,500 different local, county and state taxation systems in the United States, you can understand the controversy.

In 1998, Congress did what it usually does when faced with a potentially explosive issue like Internet tax collection — it decided to put off making a decision. Congress enacted a three-year moratorium on the collection of taxes to give an appointed advisory board time to come up with an acceptable solution. That moratorium ended in 2002 and opened the door for municipalities to begin collecting sales tax on their own.

Here in Alabama the state sales tax collection department has aired radio spots asking Alabamians to step up to - and toss dollars into - the proverbial collection plate. The commercial kindly suggests that if I have purchased anything from an online retailer, I am honor-bound to proclaim such purchases and submit the appropriate sales tax to the collection department right away. They thank me in advance for my cooperation.

So, Charlie, when the auditor shows up at your door the best thing you can do is smile politely and be totally forthcoming. The sales tax that you pay is a small price for the convenience of shopping online.

Or at least that’s what you should tell yourself as you write the auditor a check.

Legislation

The Indian law of copyrigts is enshrined in the Copyright Act, 1957. The Act seeks to provide for the registration of copyrights in India. The object of copyright law is to encourage authors, artists and composers to create original works by rewarding them with exclusive right for a fixed period to reproduce the works for commercial exploitation.

What is Copyright

COPYRIGHT is a right given by the law to creators of literary, dramatic, musical and artistic works and producers of cinematograph films and sound recordings. In fact, it is a bundle of rights including, inter alia, rights of reproduction, communication to the public, adaptation and translation of the work. There could be slight variations in the composition of the rights depending on the work.

Copyright is the legal protection given to the creator of an original literary or artistic work. It is the exclusive right granted by the law to creator of such original work, to do, authorize, or prohibit certain acts in relation to such work, therby protecting and rewarding creativity.

Copyrights subsist in following class of works:

a) Original literary, musical, dramatic and artistic works.

b) Cinematograph films

c) Sound recordings

The rights vary according to the class of work. Copyright also subsists in translations, abridgements or compilations of such works, provided the permission of the Copyright holder is obtained. Computer programmes are considered as literary works and are protected under the Copyright Act. There is no copyright in an idea.

Rights conferred by registration

In general, registration is voluntary. Copyright exists from the moment the work is created. Under Indian law, registration is not required either for acquiring copyright or for enforcing it in an infringement action. However, registration has evidentiary value in a court of law with reference to dispute relating to ownership of copyright.

Author of copyright

Under the copyright law, the creator of the original expression in a work is its author. The author is also the owner of copyright, unless there is a written agreement by which the author assigns the copyright to another person or entity, such as a publisher. In cases of works made for hire, the provider of the work is considered to be the author.

Filing and Prosecuting Copyright Applications

An application for copyright on Form-IV accompanied by four copies of the work is to be made on Form IV ( Including Statement of Particulars and Statement of Further Particulars) along with the prescribed fee at Copyright Office of the Department of Education, New Delhi. The Copyright Office initially provides a filing number and filing date and issues a filing receipt. Thereafter the application is formally examined by the Office. Defects will be communicated to the applicant. Once the application is found to be in order it is accepted and the Copyright Office issues the registration certificate.

Duration of registration

The duration granted for works of copyright varies depending on the type of work. Literary or musical works or artistic works, other than photographs, have a life span, which extends for the life of the author and 60 years from the end of the year in which the author dies. However, if the work has not been published, performed, or offered for sale or broadcast during the life of the author, the copyright protection shall continue for a period of 60 years from the end of the year in which any of these acts are done relating to the work.

Cinematograph films, photographs and computer programs are protected for 60 years from the end of the year in which the work is made available to the public with the consent of the owner of the copyright or published, or, failing such an event, for 60 years from the end of the year in which the work is made. Sound recordings are protected for 60 years from the end of the year in which the recording is first published.

In the case of anonymous or pseudonymous works, the copyright is for 60 years from the end of the year in which the work is made available to the public with the consent of the owner of the copyright or from the end of the year in which it is reasonable to presume that the author died, which ever term is shorter.

Use of the “©” symbol

Anyone who claims copyrights in a work can use copyright notice to alert the public of the claim. It is not necessary to have a registration to use the designations though it is highly advisable to incorporate a copyright notice like the symbol, etter “c” in a circle or the word “Copyright” followed by name of copyright owner and year of first publication. For example, © ipfirmsdirectory 1999.

Remedies For Infringement

It is the sole responsibility of the owner to see that his copyright is not being infringed upon by someone else. It is the owner’s duty to file a suit of infringement against the infringer. The reliefs which may be usually awarded in such a suit are -

i. Injunctons whether interim or final.

ii. Damages.

Criminal action also can be taken on the basis of copyright registration. The minimum punishment for infringement of copyright is imprisonment for six months with the minimum fine of Rs. 50,000/-. In the case of a second and subsequent conviction the minimum punishment is imprisonment for one year and fine of Rs. one lakh.

International copyright protection

India is a member of both Berne and Universal Conventions and Indian law extends protection to all copyrighted works originating from any of the convention countries. Foreign works first published in a country which is a member of either of the Conventions would be accorded the same copyright protection in India as Indian works without undergoing any formalities, on the assumption that the home country accords reciprocity to Indian works.

There comes daily in the life of an old man who has retired and is continually in the presence of his wife-instead of at work where he belongs-the challenge to answer her questions. Remember, old people forget easily so that is to our advantage.

Questions come in many forms and at odd times. It can drive a man crazy trying to think of a short wife-shoo-away answer on the spot. It’s better to be prepared with some stock answers.

Also, a man needs some extracurricular activities to keep him out of the house as much as possible. I for example have two horses. I can always tell my wife I’m going out to check on them. One is north of town and the other is south of town so I can go any direction I want to.

As some of you know, these horses were given to me by my friends. They feed the horses, clean the stall, pay the vet bills, exercise them and groom them or whatever else a horse needs. I just want to say I have a horse. They agreed to this so for all worthy-excuse purposes, I have horses. My grandkids like to go out and see my horses.

I’m in the process of building my herd to five critters. I told me wife this so I can always say, “I’m going to see a man about a horse.”

Can anyone make money on ebay?

In order to answer this broad question we first have to understand what it is about ebay that appeals to so many people. For a company that was only created in 1997 it has experienced some unbelievable success, and there have been few other companies that have seen such massive growth in such a short space of time.

Last year ebay enjoyed record windfall profits of $500 million, a colossal amount in anybodies book. Next year they are tipped to earn even more and there doesn’t seem to be an end to the success of this truly great dot com prodigy.
With vast amounts of people joining on a daily basis, will there ever be a time that this whole concept becomes saturated? Is there a danger of this giant becoming super nova only to disappear beneath the enormity of its own success and size.

A lot of ebay’s success has to be down to its simplicity. Ebay is a common man’s tool, created in such a way so that everybody can trade rich. Poor, young or old. Ebay bridges the gap between all classes, races and religions. It has found a common denominator amongst the masses and has combined this find with the best that technology has to offer.

Our need to buy plays a major part in the modern lives of modern people. Materialism is high on everybody’s agenda and for this reason ebay is ideally placed to meet this demand. People now have more disposable income than they have ever had before, yet like a double edged sword this new found wealth is cruel compensation for the amount of disposable time that has been afforded to us in modern times. People work hard for their lifestyles and way of living. In many families both parents have to work to sustain these proficient lifestyles. Again time is a precious factor and spent wisely where ever we can.

This is where ebay becomes a precious commodity where by once you have entered the virtual realms of its existence, it then becomes a permanent fixture within your life.
You can buy anything that you want on ebay with hundreds of categories and sub-categories to choose from. Why should people take the time to make a trip to their local DIY store when they can buy virtually anything they want to from the comfort of their own homes.

For me ebay will never die. For the next generation ebay will be as prominent in their lives as television is to this generation. It will continue to grow for years and years to come. It is virtually impossible for it to become saturated as by way of nature there will always be more buyers than there will be sellers.
Ebay is here to stay and for those who are savvy enough to grasp this fact, ebay can and will provide a good income.

Get to know your market and create a niche

There are several key success stages to trading successfully on ebay. The first and most obvious is getting to know ebay itself. Its not enough to just open an account, place a listing and watch the profits pour in. sure they’ll probably make a sale, and they’ll probably turn a profit, but there is only so much that a person can sell before they empty their garages or attics of their disposable junk. Furthermore, there are many other people who are trading in this fashion, and this is where competition will be at its most fierce.

Today you can trade in anything old or brand new, and this is the point of difference in terms of an individuals success. Your never going to be an expert in trading antiques unless you know something about them.
There’s one great way to find a product that may sell and that’s a product you know something about. A personal hobby is the ideal solution to finding these products as you already have an advantage in the fact that: a) You already spend time doing the activity. B) You know something about this activity. C) You enjoy this activity.

It’s a lot more fun and long term fulfilling if what you are selling meets the above criteria. You are more likely to keep driving at it if its something you like doing and you’ll have a better understanding of your customers wants and needs. Having a relationship with the product is half the battle won. It’s not completely necsercary but it will help a lot and it will give you a lot of satisfaction. Imagine getting paid for something that you like to do!! Wouldn’t that be something.
OK, so lets imagine you have a hobby. You know what you want to sell and your ready to go. What’s the next step towards finding that elusive product, one that will sell over and over generating profit each time it sells.
For some people finding this product is like finding a needle in a haystack. Where on God’s earth do you start to look for these products? Panic and confusion set in and the mind goes blank. Yet there is a very simple solution to this dilemma and the answer is sitting right under your nose.

Lets imagine that the hobby you love and adore is golf and you’ve decided to trade in golf equipment. Is it enough to simply list the driver you like best and hope that a bidding frenzy ensues. Trading in this trial and error fashion is a waste of time and money and it could very well take you months to finally find a product that sells on a consistent basis. For many people this fruitless period would spell the end to their ebay profession as they would simply give up without the right tools to point them in the right direction.

What you need to know is what product sells over and over again and what kind of price does it sell for.

Even trawling through ebay itself would take an age as any category is vast and spotting that elusive product can be difficult amongst 300 pages of the same category.

Yet ebay does have the answers to this dilemma and there are some incredible tools that are available to anybody and everybody that will enable them to spot these products with simplest of actions.

Divorce is hard, there’s no question about it. Not only has your marriage ended but, most likely, your lifestyle is undergoing some drastic changes also. This is especially true if you are forced to leave the place that was home to you and your family.

Depending on your particular situation, you may find that moving into an apartment is your only option. Many times it’s hard to think of an apartment as home after you’ve been accustomed to living in a house surrounded by family. But, if you choose your apartment wisely, you may find it’ll become a cozy, comfortable haven.

Take some time to select your apartment.

Remember, this is going to be your new home. Don’t rush the selection process. Decide how much you can afford to spend for rent and look at as many apartments in that range as you can. Location should be one of your prime considerations. Your life is complicated enough right now, don’t make it worse by choosing an inconvenient location where commuting becomes a problem.

If your children will be visiting regularly be sure your apartment is large enough to let them feel at home. If possible, select an apartment with a room just for them. Let them have a hand in decorating it so they’ll feel a part of it.

If you have joint custody of the children and they will be living with you while attending school, you’ll also want to choose an apartment that is convenient to their schools and recreation areas.

The type of apartment you choose will be important to how well you adapt to living in it. Like a house, choose one that fits your personality. If you like puttering in the yard, make sure there is some private space where you can do that ~ even if it’s just planting flower boxes on your patio. If you enjoy cooking, make sure the kitchen meets your requirements.

You also need to consider the atmosphere of your apartment complex. If you’re going to have children living with you part time, most likely a singles community would not be the best choice. Neither would you probably want to choose an apartment in a building that is filled with senior citizens. If there are pets involved, make sure rules don’t prohibit them.

Turn your apartment into a home.

Don’t consider your apartment a place of exile! It’s your new home and if you want to be happy there, you must give it your attention. Unpack the boxes and arrange your furniture in a way that’s pleasing to you. Hang pictures or other art work on the walls and stamp your new home with your own personality. If you take pride in decorating it according to your own tastes, you’ll find it becomes a welcoming and comfortable place to be. Remember you no longer have to consider anyone else’s preferences ~ this is all yours to do with as you please!

The more you’re apartment reflects you and your interests, the more it will seem like home.
